Welcome!
The title is the answer to the question you get asked the most when people find out you ride motorcycles, "what do you do if it rains"?
"sometimes I dream of flying. this is better. the world flows over my shoulders, the road rushes under my nose. a bike, an open road and a far-off destination. happiness hits me like a ghost with a hammer. riding takes just enough concentration to shush the internal jabber, while leaving one free for clear, honest thought. nothing else does that for me."

Trip is over, the bike is back in the garage with a thick layer of bugs that need to be cleaned off. Four thousand miles, lots of great roads traveled and new stories from riders from British Columbia, Edmonton AB, Ohio, New Hampshire, and Portland OR. We are blessed to live in a country as diverse as this, with a two hour wait for gas in Fossil OR. because the only gas station opens "when they open", to Jackson WY. where even if you wanted to stop there is no place to park. I think the great Townes Van Zandt summed it up best," where you been is good and gone, all you keep is the getting there." Enjoy the ride.

No pictures from the road today, nothing exciting between here and Moorhead. I think I am getting close to the mountians, I am seeing fewer dually pick-ups and more Subaru's. The cottonwood trees and streams are giving way to ponderosa pine and foothills. I am at a motel in White Sulpher Springs MT., lots of motorcyclists staying here, lots of free advice.
