Welcome!

The title is the answer to the question you get asked the most when people find out you ride motorcycles, "what do you do if it rains"?

"sometimes I dream of flying. this is better. the world flows over my shoulders, the road rushes under my nose. a bike, an open road and a far-off destination. happiness hits me like a ghost with a hammer. riding takes just enough concentration to shush the internal jabber, while leaving one free for clear, honest thought. nothing else does that for me."

12 states, 3 provinces, 5 time zones, and some over 8000 miles traveled on 2 wheels in the last 10 months. Just numbers now but a great experience. Thanks Tyler for riding along on the second half, it's much more fun to share the ride. Lots of rain on this trip so almost every picture has fog in it, and in New Brunswick it was raining too hard to even bother with the camera. The t-shirts we bought at the Harley shop will have to suffice as a reminder. We did manage to get pictures of our bikes by all 5 Great Lakes, you will have to trust us on Lake Michigan, the lake is there in the fog. Once again we were blessed with no problems, a dry place to sleep every night and this time no encounters with the good people in law enforcement. I have even learned to take the "you're crazy" look people give you when they ask where we are headed or where we are from as a compliment. Time to get the maps out for the next ride...
